Babylonian Speaks on Persian Turmoil and Persecution
Rev Simon Nathan of Persia, a Babylonian by birth and Presbyterian minister, spoke at the Presbyterian church detailing centuries of Christian persecution under Turkish rule. He described his family's murder, the destruction of homes and churches, and urged aid for refugee orphans in Persia as a reform government gains momentum. A generous offering followed from the Sunday school and church groups.

Hood College Gym Exhibition Promises Dance and Calisthenics
Hood College holds its annual gymnasium exhibition Friday evening at the State Armory under Miss Marion Warner. Calisthenics and marching lead to chevron and aesthetic dance routines from each class plus a B A B basketball game. Judges include Miss Marjorie Dan and WD John Markey. A banner prize will acknowledge the class with greatest display of ability.

Ether Leather man of ilerten suffers the loss of part of a left thumb when caught in a sausage grinder operated by a gaselle con hline. He is treated by Dr. Re Vechauver. Earlier, his four year old son was kicked and struck a stone, sustaining a head wound. Dr Mauver reports losses from yard work this year.
