$110 000 Bond Issue Favored for Frederick Schools
A Frederick County Farmers Association commission met at the YMCA to discuss a proposed 110000 school bond issue and a revised curriculum. The meeting, attended by plans to report at a Saturday session, debated centralization, taxes, and rural school needs with Dr. Albert Cook expected to attend.

Dairy Feed Schools to Be Held This Week
Frederick county hosts a series of dairy feed schools this week led by J A Conover of the University of Maryland Extension Service. The talks focus on lowering production costs through home grown seeds and legume crops such as soybeans, alfalfa, and red clover to improve dairy rations and protein supplies. Schedule lists Thurmont March 17, Middletown March 18, Frederick March 20, and Jefferson Schoolhouse with 1.30 and 7.30 p m sessions.

American Legion Auxiliary Tag Day Nets 75 Dollars
About 875 was cleared Saturday on tag day for the Francis Scott Key Post Auxiliary. Mrs. George Birely presided while Mrs. Hubert Crothers led the committee and auxili ary members resisted by several named. High school girls helped and Olho J. Keller joined the Bureau of Standards in Washington after a move from Buckeystown to Edgewood Arsenal.
