Family Sues Genstar Over Sinkholes At Frederick Quarry
A Hamilton Avenue family sues Genstar Stone Products for 15.5 million in Frederick County Circuit Court alleging quarry operations near their home caused sinkholes, dust, noise and vibrations. The suit cites a 1993 sinkhole and a 1994 garage collapse, seeks 2.5 million for Mr Young, 1.5 million each for Mrs Young and Jennifer, plus 10 million punitive damages, and requests a jury trial.
