Five County Bills Fall Victim to Senate Panels
In 90 minutes on Thursday, Economic and Environmental Affairs and Judicial Proceedings committees of the Maryland Senate killed five Frederick County bills on gambling tips, forest conservation, and lead paint abatement. Only three of the eight original county requests remain, with the rest reduced to minor technical changes and local beverage code updates.
