Town rental has strings attached
NEW MARKET The government didn’t walk all over Ryan and Carne Hines. They lived above Town Hall for two years but now plan to buy a house in Mount Dury. The two bedroom one bath home may be advertised for rent by town officials. Rent suggested $700 to $800 a month, up from $500, with no discount for quiet living. The Hineses, ex football lineman and 24, 25 respectively, were model tenants, keeping up landscaping and even unlocking the town hall bathroom in the morning. A note: access to attic runs through the kitchen due to town right of way, an arrangement town officials maintain.
