Residents seek hearing to block X-Hale liquor license
A group of around ten residents submitted a petition to the liquor board this week seeking a public hearing on X-Hale's annual license renewal. Neighbors cited noise and occasional violence spilling from the night club into the area and argued for shutting the club or converting it to a restaurant. A resident noted the board would renew the license, while another claimed the renewal hearing would address alleged skipped notice and the possibility to block the license.
