Fifty years ago the Frederick City Hospital board held its annual meeting in the Nurses Home with officer elections and committee appointments as hospital activities were discussed. About 75 members of the Frederick Chapter Order of DeMolay attended Past Master Councilors Night at the Masonic Temple where past masters jewels were presented. The High Flyer from Frederick High School was honored at a National High School Press Association conference at Columbia University in New York. Arrangements were made for a large crowd of cage addicts at the State Armory as Hagerstown and Westminster high schools prepared for a second round state elimination basketball clash.

Snowstorm Halts Roads Across County and State
