Moluccans Attack Hostages Kill Civil Servant
About 100 marines struck a building held by Moluccan attackers in Assen. A 40 year old civil servant was killed and 11 others wounded as the assault lasted 20 minutes. Hostages were forced to witness a killing and the terrorists demanded 21 fellow Moluccans, 13 million dollars, and a escape plane.
