Charles Trubac Promoted Regional VP for State Farm Michigan Office
Charles M. Trubac has been named regional vice president of State Farm Insurance Companies Michigan Office in Marshall Michigan. The announcement came from Edwin E. Wells regional VP of State Farm Seaboard Office in Frederick. Trubac began as an agent in Washington DC and now serves as deputy regional VP of the Seaboard Office. Since arriving in Frederick in 1965 he has helped develop the Seaboard Region and engaged in numerous civic activities. He and his wife Ruth and their three sons Charles 15 Thomas 13 and Daniel 10 will leave the Frederick area in early summer.

Fireman Hurt Badly In Fall From Truck
Brunswick volunteer fireman Steven Kidwiler was critically injured Friday night after falling from a moving water truck returning from fires. He was flown to University Hospital Baltimore in critical condition and placed in the shock trauma unit. Fire Chief H E Cannon cited a broken strap and a light truck without its water load as contributing factors. Kidwiler, in his early twenties, is married with two children, training at Hagerstown police academy, and serves as a Brunswick policeman and volunteer fireman. He received immediate first aid. authorities kept him still due to possible back injury.

Herbert E Mulkey Jr died in An Khe Vietnam on March 2 1971 at age 23. He served in the 173rd Airborne Brigade after enlisting in June 1970 through a local recruiting station. He completed training at Fort Dix Fort Benning and Fort Jackson. He attended Singanore High School. He is survived by his parents siblings and grandparents. Funeral services set for Monday noon at Second Baptist Falls Church with burial at Arlington National Cemetery.

The Maryland Department of Employment and Social Services issued an affirmative action plan led by Rita C. Davidson to address racial discrimination in Frederick County offices.
