Frederick County to start the second Manpower Development Training Act course in a local high school on April 11. Eugene F. Wood Jr. says unemployed and underemployed youths and high school dropouts may enroll with federal payments for the six week program. Instructors will include licensed nurses with bachelor degrees from Frederick Memorial Hospital and local facilities. Upon completion, graduates will be placed in about 40 open nurse aide positions locally. A prior course produced employment in housekeeping management for eight participants.
