Modell faulted on contracts in Maryland turf bid
Art Modell rejected at least two Maryland firms and hired a Cleveland contractor to prepare new practice fields near Baltimore. Spokesman David Hopcraft said the Cleveland firm will hire Maryland workers and use local products, while critics argue the decision questions Maryland job impact and state business benefits.
