Grange Rebuts AFL CIO Call for Farm Price Controls
National Grange leader John Scott denounces an AFL-CIO resolution seeking government controls on farm prices. He argues farm goods sell in a free market and inflation is not driven by farming, citing wage and price data from 1972. He accuses labor groups of using farmers to push higher non farm wages.
