Filtration project faces new delay from former chief engineer
Philadelphia February 28 report says John W Hill Hull, ex chief of the filtration bureau, seeks legal action to halt work on the abandoned municipal filtration plant. Mayor Weaver and private counsel James Gar Gordon note Hull has patented plant features and his associate Edward Rinkie warns Weaver a suit may proceed unless the work resumes.

Suitcase With Bonds Stolen From Train Finds Clue in Boarding House
A suitcase containing two $59,000 bonds of the Central Railroad of Pennsylvania, owned by ex-Congressman James Kerr, was stolen on the Tyrone and Clearfield line. The case was found minus the bonds at Charles Getto's boarding house in Retort, 15 miles north of Tyrone. Getto was arrested and held for court. investigators suspect an accomplice.
