Ficker pushes ballot measure to curb tax hikes in Maryland
Rockville Bethesda attorney Robin Ficker unveiled another petition drive to place a Nov ballot question aimed at limiting piggyback income tax revenues. With gubernatorial candidate Charles Ecker at his side, Ficker cited 1992 and 1998 piggyback figures and argued the county could have saved hundreds of millions in revenue if the rate stayed at 50 percent. He previously filed petitions last year for a second question to decide in November.
