Grand Jury Declines To Indict Woman In Frederick Shooting

The Frederick County Grand Jury refused to indict Joelle Walters Terry over the April 15, 1998, shooting death of Douglas Jett at her Old Frederick Road home. Jurors met in secret and, by majority vote, did not find sufficient evidence of second degree murder or voluntary manslaughter. Prosecutor Scott L. Rolle noted the jury had full access to police files and Jett family information.

Sheriff weighs bills to require medical condition data on licenses

Tank Reunited With Owner After Shelter Stay

Tank a 7 month old mixed breed dog reunites with owner Carl Jackson after a month apart. Jackson who lived at a campsite near Wal-Mart faced law and shelter concerns over living conditions and animal protection laws. Tank had been housed at Animal Control and neutered at Frederick Veterinary Center before the reunion.
