Murderer of Houghteling gets 30 year term
Hadden Clark, confessed killer of 23 year old Laura Houghteling, received the maximum 30 year sentence from Circuit Court Judge Irma S Baker. The judge rejected both parties requests for alternative confinement and noted past psychiatric treatment had failed. Clark pleaded guilty to second degree murder and disclosed the victim’s burial site. He will serve the term in a maximum security prison with retroactive start to last November.
