Girls High School Alumnae Meet Highlights History
The 79th annual luncheon and reunion of the Girls High School Alumnae Association was held June 19 at the Francis Scott Key Hotel with 90 members and two guests. Officers were named for the coming year, and a slide presentation on Historical Frederick framed the program. The Class of 1921 celebrated its 60th anniversary, recalling school days and yell, while a long list of alumnae attendees and relatives filled the room alongside a memorial reading. A separate item notes three Midland Texas men were recently sentenced for embezzlement murder and petty theft, and Maryland reports 65 180 boats registered statewide.
