West German TV Association rejects live fight broadcast bid
The West German Television Association turned down a proposal for live transmission of the fight in West Germany due to a price of 375000 dollars being unacceptable. Mueller said Mildenberger would start training for the Clay fight late next month to allow time for healing a facial cut from defending his European crown against Ivan Prebeg. The German athlete owns 49 wins in 54 bouts after a 15 round decision over Prebeg in which he retained his title. Former Dean Albert J Harno of the University of Illinois Law School died at 77 in La Jolla California after a long tenure ending in 1957.
