Damascus Fire Department seeking girls for beauty contest
The Damascus Volunteer Fire Department will host a beauty contest on Thursday July 1 during the Carnival. Contestants aged 16 to 18 must live in the Damascus Fire Area and be single. Winners crowned Miss DVFD will join the department in parades and events. Entrants receive a Beauty Kit and a free hair-do. Notify B D Gladhill or C E Williams to enter. Carnival runs June 25 to July 3 with concerts, parades, and fireworks.
