Local farmers drive 1965 ACP program planning
Reeves notes that pooling resources and ACP assistance help solve cross farm problems. The 1965 program, already in early development, will cover farmland across the 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Local leaders and agencies shape conservation measures with priority to the most needed work. Water conservation is vital in some areas to sustain farmers and ranchers and non-farm people.
