Governor Thomas Johnson High School stands ready after two and a half years of construction led by Dr. James A. Sensenbaugh and Dr. John L. Carochan Jr. The $7 million two building complex combines junior and senior highs with 98 teachers and extensive flexible spaces. It features an auditorium seating 1,538, a large gym, numerous self contained teaching areas, climate controlled rooms, a central intercom system, an information retrieval library system and an outdoor stage for dramatics.
