Thieves Loot Apartment Storage Bins
City police seek thieves who looted two apartment storage areas. At Prospect Plaza near South Jefferson Street nearly 140 dollars of items were taken from one bin, including a clock radio and tool box. At Fort Detrick Plaza near West Seventh Street over 500 dollars of tools drills and fishing gear were stolen from three bins. Entry was gained by breaking padlocks. No suspects yet. Frederick plans 88 units in West Brook area
The Frederick City planning commission will consider a plan for 88 apartment and townhouse units on a 7.4 acre site between Fairview Avenue and the Frederick bypass extension of Mercer Place. The plan includes 12 buildings with 26 one-bedroom and 28 two-bedroom apartments plus 40 townhouses, a 75,000 square foot recreation area with pool and bathhouse, and 121 parking spaces. Architects are Horowitz Siegel and Associates. The area is zoned R 3 and the commission will approve only design and overall layout.

Methodists Favor Repeal of Intermarriage Ban
