The state agency may offer vocational rehabilitation to applicants for Social Security or SSI disability. If rehab could help return to work, a counselor will interview the applicant. Services range from counseling to job training and placement, and accepting them does not cancel disability benefits. A refusal without good reason may suspend payments. For details contact the Frederick Social Security office at 912 East Street or call 663-5124.
