A Montgomery County court continued the case of two Wheaton service station employees charged with defrauding customers. William Ale, also charged with false pretenses and conspiracy, was ordered to a 20 day park work program before the case returns. Police swarmed the Scott Filling Station in April after surveillance showed attendants charging extra and the gauges recording higher totals. Two teenagers who pled guilty earlier were sent to work programs, testifying that extra money covered shortages and any remaining funds were divided.
