Assaulted Two In Auto Charge They Preferred
George Waggerman of Emmitsburg faces a hearing this afternoon before Justice J Grahame Johnson on four counts of assault and battery against John Fisher and Roy Sharrer, both of this city. Arrested by Deputy Charles W Smith, he was released on bail. Near Greenstone Products Co on the Thurmont Sabillasville road last night, Waggerman allegedly ordered Fisher and Sharrer from their car, threatened them with a bottle of whiskey, insulted them, struck Fisher, then Sharrer, and pushed their car at about 30 miles per hour before they fled to Thurmont to report the assault.
