Fluoridation Of Water Supply Again Urged
Rockville June 5 The Montgomery county Council again urged the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission to fluoridate the county water supply. It marks the second council resolution in a year. Council member Kathryn J. Lawler said reasserting the stance was needed with new commissioners who previously refused over cost and uncertain benefits. At Hyattsville news conference the new commission members said they were studying the issue. The Council rejected two amendments to the zoning ordinance related to for example Red Cross and YMCA buildings in Residential A areas. The majority believed the restrictions in the amendments were not justified.
