Greyhound Bus Loses Rear Wheels on Highway
A Greyhound express bus bound for Washington lost its rear wheels on U S 15 South at Evergreen Point early today. No injuries were reported among about 40 passengers. The driver returned to the terminal, swapped for another bus, and the broken vehicle was removed this morning.

Restaurant owner found dead by hanging in grill
Norman Ramsburg Fry, 61, owner of the Town House Grill at 24 South Market Street, was found hanging in the dining area about 7 am by employee Lucille Roberts. Frederick police, ambulance crew, and county medical examiner ruled death by self action. Fry leaves a wife, siblings, and a father. $70,000 Awarded To Railroad Man
A Baltimore and Ohio employee injured April 23, 1962 at the B and O yards in Brunswick received a $70,000 out of court settlement. Russell G. Munday of Knoxville filed suit for damages after both legs were crushed. The case had been set for trial in Baltimore City Court with about 30 witnesses planned for a ten day hearing.

Gliders Forced Down In Maryland Contest Winds
Tricky air currents forced two gliders during the Middle Atlantic Soaring contest to emergency landings over the past days.
