Motorist Charged After North Market Street Accident
Frederick police charged James Plunkard, 37, after a collision with Earl Luhn, 57, on North Market at Thirteenth Street. Plunkard’s 1956 Chevy was a total loss. Luhn’s 1959 Olds about 400 dollars in damage. Both drivers were treated for minor injuries at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Investigators Captain Marshall Murray and Sgt. William Boost noted the mishap occurred around 11 a.m. and ambulances transported the men. Junior fire company responded. no fire.

Baltimore AP reports David Scull defeated Del. Louise Gore by 70 votes in the May 19 Republican primary for Maryland congressman at large.
