Frederick plans Mullinix bathhouse demolition and rebuild
The City of Frederick plans to demolish the Mullinix Pool bathhouse at William R. Diggs Pool in September and build a new bathhouse near the pool’s eastern end behind the diving board. The project follows sewer line considerations from the Carroll Creek flood plain plan. The bathhouse, built in 1947, will have 2,300 square feet of floor space with a basement for pumping and chemical storage. Bids were solicited this week, with public bid announcements set for August 6.
