Poolesville Library Receives Art Donations From Local Couple
Retired FBI agent and concert pianist couple from Germantown, long-time readers, donated books and art to the Poolesville Library. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, and shells by John McGrath and Helen Chambers, with works from Nantucket and spring garden motifs. The pieces will be displayed permanently, honoring their love of books, music, and art, and some works are to be shared with the BlackHock Center for the Arts in Germania when it opens in 2007.
