Health Center Study Group Reports Progress on Building Plan
A county study group disclosed two anonymous gifts worth free site options for a health center not near Frederick Memorial Hospital. The group outlined three questions on need location and financing, with site options including a proposed Safeway area and Monocacy Village. The panel aims to raise about $60 000 via gifts and volunteers, plus possible federal funds, while awaiting commissioners’ final site choice.
