City Schools Run by Private Firm Cited for Violations
Baltimore three city schools operated by Educational Alternatives Inc face a corrective plan due by August 1 after investigations found disabled students in mainstream classes without proper notice and consent and inadequate evaluations and staffing. The state says compliance is achievable and funding should remain intact. The actions follow a union complaint opposing privatization.
