Lane assails Mahoney as tax debate heats Maryland primary
Baltimore July 3 Governor Lane in a campaign speech blasted George P. Mahoney calling his charges tommyrot and empty. Lane defended road school and hospital improvements funded by the sales tax and challenged Mahoney to prove misused funds.
