19 candidates vie for Frederick County commissioner seat
On the last day to file, 19 politicians entered the race for county commissioner, creating a six way GOP primary to pick five Republicans. Democrats Jesse Burall and Pearl Fox joined the field, bringing total candidates to 12 for Democrats seeking the five-member board. The filing also added five Republicans to the central committee race and four for Orphans Court judgeships, while veteran Frederick resident A Irvin Renn did not file.
