Teen Profiles Massive John Deere Farm Toy Hobby
Andrew Shoemaker, 15, has built a 700 to 800 piece collection from his dad’s old toys and buys new pieces at farm toy shows. He placed second in the youth division at the 18th Annual National Farm Toy Show in Dyersville, Iowa with a 30 piece display. His prized $1,000 John Deere combine was bought at auction from a builder, and he has won six trophies over five years.
