Mars to open 50,000 sq ft supermarket at Westview center

Mars Inc plans a 50,000 square foot supermarket as primary tenant of a 150,000 square foot Westview shopping center off Md. 85 near Frederick. The Dundalk based chain will employ 100 locals with total jobs rising by at least 300 once leasing starts. Environmental studies are underway and the rezoned Westview campus will accommodate shops, hotels, homes and offices.
