Suspect in Liberty Town murder has prior criminal record
Vernon Henry Bittinger 26 and Maryland inmate Donald Ray Gravley 32 are named in a case. Bittinger, sought for first degree murder and robbery, has a 1986 housebreaking conviction and earlier probation violations. Woman Dies After Head-On Md 550 Collision
A 36 year old Keymar woman Debbie W Fischbach died from injuries after a head-on crash on Md 550 south of Dorcus Road. She was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Fischbach crossed the center line while overcompensating after her wheel ran off the road. The dump truck driver Jerry P Atlantic II, 25, of Westminster was uninjured.
