DiFonzo files for MontCo Board of Ed
Sharon DiFonzo of Rockville filed as a candidate for the Montgomery County Board of Education advocating a stronger teacher evaluation process and active parent involvement. A self described moderate and longtime county educator, she aims to redirect discretionary funds to classrooms, support modest salary adjustments, and reform tenure while detailing concerns over pension reform and potential teacher shortages. The bid joins two other filings ahead of December term expirations for three seats on the board.
