MontCo Officials Fly Over Plans for Subways to Rockville

Montgomery County officials toured the Red Line route by helicopter to preview the Shady Grove Metro opening and its traffic plans. They highlighted 3,000 parking spaces plus kiss and ride facilities, new ride on buses, and a December 1985 target for the Up County Operations Center. A special task force will monitor progress and report to officials.

Widening I-270 to twelve lanes planned from Beltway to Clarksburg
