SUN VALLEY Idaho AP Lost for 54 days Robert Bailey ate raw meat and buried himself in snow to stay alive after a snowbound hunt with partner Joe Conquest. Bailey walked about 30 miles in 25 days through waist deep snow to reach a guest ranch and then Sun Valley while Conquest died beside the road. Bailey survived on venison after their deer catch until he went for help on Dec 26, with Conquest frozen and unable to wear boots.
