Colleges Slash Tuition to Ease High Learning Costs

After a decade of tuition rising faster than inflation, several colleges announce price cuts or modest hikes. North Country Community College lowered part time tuition 12 percent, Massachusetts public colleges cut 5 to 10 percent, and North Carolina Wesleyan trimmed 23 percent.
