Pretrial releases denied in two separate cases
Two men faced bond reviews in District Court on Wednesday. Robert Kyle Ahalt, 19, is accused of manslaughter and reckless endangerment in the shotgun death of David Matthew Teeter, while Adal Mere dith Norment, 19, is charged with loading the shotgun and near trigger, with a witness describing the victim holding the gun against his forehead. Accused kidnapper seeks trial as juvenile
Tracey Ann Dennis an 18 year old sitter from Middletown seeks a reverse waiver hearing in Frederick County Circuit Court to move the case to juvenile court if successful. The 3 month old Felicia Nicole Burriss abducted last October remains the subject of a serious felony charge carrying a 30 year potential term and Ms Dennis is held in the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. Dennis was arrested in October in Washington DC by FBI agents after the infant was abducted from Eva Burriss of Frederick and recovered two days later.

Firefighters from Washington and Frederick counties battled a house fire on Brown Road near Miller Avenue in Weverton. The three year old home was destroyed with more than 200000 dollars in damage.
