Damascus FFA Chapter Active Program Highlights
Damascus FFA members closed the first half of the school year with an active schedule. They visited Eshelman Red Rose Feed in York and Lancaster to view a push button mill and research stations. They organized a Christmas drive for the needy, earned soil and water conservation honors, and received state level dairy and farming awards. The group maintains livestock projects, plans two baby beeves for the fall show, purchases an Ayrshire calf for a deserving member, and collaborates with Rotary Club Peace Corps and Heifer Project to assist incubator crates.

Have You Made Your Will Discussed by Homemakers Club
The Brunswick Homemakers Club January meeting featured a discussion titled Have You Made Your Will led by Mrs. Lloyd E. Roelke and Mrs. J. Frank Coffman. The talk stressed that many insured people ignore making a will, noting a will is a legal declaration of disposition of property at death and should not be postponed due to fear or emotion. Any 18 plus person of sound mind can make a will, and even small estates matter in Maryland.
