County and Lake Linganore Association set Jan 17 workshop
Frederick County commissioners and the Lake Linganore Association will hold a January 17 workshop to resolve whether covenants allow the county to accept Summerfield roads. County Attorney Wendy Kearney argues the roads are private and must be transferred by Pleasant Development, while the association contends the roads could transfer directly to the county from the developer. Charlotte Baker says the board may respond by the January 13 deadline but a full plan is unlikely before the workshop.
