Markey Quits As Chest Director In Frederick County
Willard H Markey resigned as executive director of the Community Chest of Frederick County effective January 15. He will become vice president and sales manager of Custom Book Inc in New York, which specializes in church publications. He cited a better opportunity, not the fundraising shortfall, and plans to return to Perkasie, Pennsylvania. No successor named until officers are elected later this month.
