Bill Hodge, longtime Catoctin High School head football coach, resigns citing a need for change and his desire to follow his youngest son Richie through high school. He recalls eight seasons at Catoctin with two MVAL titles and a 20-54-2 record, after earlier success at Covington High School. The position will be open to applicants, with Tommy Fogle also resigning as Jayvee coach. The Frederick County Womens Softball League meets January 31 for reorganizational notes. two team reps are required per team.
