Hoke targets June privatization of ECDC plan
Frederick County officials consider privatizing the Economic and Community Development Commission by June. A task force including county commissioners and various local groups would study bylaws, hold a public hearing, and oversee revisions. A public hearing on privatization may occur by April or May, with a final vote by June. Three ECDC staffers could be absorbed by the county if not hired by the new body.
