Tougher discipline policy in effect in schools
A revised tougher discipline policy started Tuesday in Frederick County public schools with harsher minimum penalties for high school rule breakers. Principal George Seaton called the changes reasonable and noted the first day back from winter break required no harsher penalties. David Markee said notices went home to inform parents and that public comments were minimal during the review and approval process.
