Elderly Hagerstown couple found murdered at home
In Hagerstown an 84 year old man, Daniel B. Davis, was found stabbed and tied, and his wife 80 year old Wilda V. Davis lay dead at the kitchen table with a cloth over her head. Neighbors and a 10 year old great granddaughter discovered the scene shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday and police are handling the investigation with limited details released.

Frederick City Police say Jeffrey Rene Durant, 35, forced entry into a former girlfriend’s Prospect Plaza apartment mid early Wednesday, fought the new boyfriend with a 10 inch kitchen knife, and broke a glass patio door.
