Bartlett described ongoing employment and living arrangements to aid rehabilitation. Gaithersers attorney Harry M Leet will not be fined for renting his condemned farmhouse where six people died last month, though he faces a $425 penalty on another property. Assistant County Attorney Alan Wright said one $250 fine was withdrawn because occupancy was allowed under a waiver. Leet faces seven other citations at 23215 Slidell Road and may contest them in district court if he pays or fails to do so. Residents say the house housed tenants since November at $225 monthly and repairs were ongoing, with the fire investigation still active.
